THE NEW YORKER

Mariscal's illustrations in the prestigious magazine The New Yorker have transported the festive and Mediterranean spirit to New York City settings.

This New York publication is an island within the international publishing landscape of general interest magazines, as it maintains the now lost tradition of combining written journalism with illustration. The world's best cartoonists have published and continue to publish in it, as do the most prestigious writers. It is a magazine of great literary and graphic quality.

This year, it is once again on the cover of an edition as important as the100th Anniversary Issue. Together with Anita Kunz, Camila Rosa, and Diana Ejaita, they present versions of Rea Irvin's legendary cover.
