In the heart of Barcelona, the Swatch store in Paseo de Gracia has a mural signed by Javier Mariscal, an illustrated tribute to the city that has always inspired him.

The drawing offers a personal and colorful view of Barcelona, in which some of its most emblematic buildings coexist with everyday characters and scenes, reflecting the vitality and urban imagination of the artist.

This project is part of a broader collaboration with Swatch, which wanted to link its space with local art and design. The Swatch Destination Art watch also fits into this context: a piece that transfers that same graphic universe to the watch format.

More than just a decorative intervention or a functional object, both the mural and the watch serve as a way of showing a visual interpretation of Barcelona through a personal graphic language.
