OSTERIA BORBOTTA

A collection of tiles created for the Osteria Borbotta restaurant.

A line of colorful tiles that capture the spirit of the Mediterranean. In a poetic way, Mariscal uses the line with a sequence of drawings that tells the story of the journey from Italy, from the trattoria, all the way to El Borne, the Barcelona neighborhood where the restaurant is located.

It’s about tomatoes, olive oil, food, pasta, lemons, cypress trees, and dining on the beach under the light of the full moon.
