LA PINEDA

One of the most representative symbols of La Pineda is the sculpture group of the same name. The eight pine trees that make up this work are 24 meters high and weigh 130 tons.

They embellish the promenade, symbolizing sustainability, projection, and urban planning. The first four pine trees were installed in 1999 and the remaining four in 2008.

This sculpture, made of steel and copper, has allowed to promote around the world the territory of Vila-seca, the Pineda Platja, as its image was adapted as the logo of the Patronat Municipal de Turisme de Vila-seca.
