GRANCELONA EXHIBITION
“Barcelona is one of the most beautiful cities in the world, and above all, it’s my city. The vitality with which the city embraces me is mutual. Its light, so similar to that of Valencia, fills me with warmth, and its topography fascinates me. I ride through the streets on a Vespa and sketch the city with a pen, graphically capturing the layout of streets and avenues that, like a scalpel, cut through the map and organize it.”
The exhibition, which you can visit at the Escoleta venue from March 11 to April 24, showcases a contemporary Barcelona that has already grown quite large: Grancelona. A city that weaves into its urban fabric areas that have been less visible until now, yet are essential to understanding its role and vitality.
