“The proposal for Captrain has a graphic language. As I sometimes do graffiti, something we discussed during the conceptualization of the project was the fact that there is a code among graffiti artists: when there is a piece by a fellow artist, you don't touch it. The Captrain letters on the train cars have something of that language, while at the same time being a very powerful image of what it means.”
