1992
Petra was the mascot of the 1992 Barcelona Paralympic Games, representing a girl without arms, symbolizing overcoming and inclusion in Paralympic sport.
Inspired by the Chilean artist Lorenza Böttner, it transmits values of effort and companionship. It was officially presented in 1991 and played a prominent role in the opening and closing ceremonies of the Games. It was also part of The Cobi Troupe, the animated series starring Cobi, the Olympic mascot.
