The Garriris
"Some lines were joined with some dots and a new character would slip through the pages. They would look at you and immediately ask you to take them to other places, they wanted to travel, they were curious and very dynamic. When I draw garriris I always have the feeling that they are the ones who decide everything. At the beginning they were tiny and very funny, they moved around a lot and you could find them anywhere. Little by little they got bigger, they discovered the beach. The beach and the sea and the moon, the full moon. The pine trees, the boats, the sand, the waves and the dunes.
One day all the garriris disappeared. In the end only Fermín and Piker remained. I don't really know why. They were the ones who eliminated all the others. One day Fermín, the tall one, and Piker, the short one, decided that they alone were enough. And so, from the torn papers of the loose pages of notes, sketches, "esqueches" and unfinished notebooks, Fermín and Piker decided to leave the sketches and create their own space, a space and a time, thus the comics of Los Garriris were born." J.Mariscal
The most recent works of Los Garriris, are large works full of color and joy. In which Mariscal vindicates his passion for life, living it in the light of the sun and the moon.
